Online Data Analysis

Analyzing operational and quality data for the purpose of spotting trends and determining relationships between different data is very important for water and wastewater utilities. However, performing this analysis is very difficult when water quality and operational data resides in different places. Adding to the difficulty is the ever increasing amount of data that is collected due to new regulations or new technologies such as SCADA systems that can take and record measurements hundreds of times per hour.

WaterTrax can help you analyze all your water and wastewater data. Readings of average, maximum and minimum measurements can be uploaded from SCADA systems every day or even at the end of every shift, and stored in one database along with all your other quality and operational data. From there, you can run trend graphs and reports to give you a big picture understanding of your entire utility that you don’t get from SCADA, LIMS or any other unconsolidated data management system on their own. For example, see below for a graph of monthly flows along with upper and lower limits.

"We feel it is important to store historical data sets at each of our sampling points. If needed, we can easily produce reports to look at trends in these data over time ."
