Drinking Water Data Consolidation
WaterTrax is a service for water utilities that consolidates regulatory and operational drinking water data from multiple sources into a single database. The service is configured so that you can tailor your setup to reflect your utility’s drinking water system structure, from the source, treatment and throughout your distribution system. The Service is scaleable to meet the needs of any size system, whether it serves hundreds or millions of consumers; and the service is modular, allowing you to add new systems, facilities or sampling points as they come online. - Electronic Receipt of Laboratory Test Results
WaterTrax clients receive their drinking water lab test results electronically, whether from internal or external laboratories. The lab data is consolidated with drinking water data from other sources, and is available online through a highly secure portal.
- Automatic Screening and Alerts
WaterTrax screens all drinking water data against regulatory standards, permit requirements, or user-defined objectives and automatically alerts users to any adverse results. Alerts are instantaneously created and delivered electronically (email, cell phone) to whoever needs to receive them.
- Scheduler
The Scheduler lets water utility operators set up their own drinking water sampling plan in order to manage complex sampling schedules. It also issues reminders for upcoming samples and alerts for any samples that have been missed.
- Online Reporting
The WaterTrax reporting feature allows utility operators to quickly and easily create reports and graphs for any parameter, for any time period and for any sampling point in their system. Up-to-date reports and graphs are quickly created in Excel or Adobe Acrobat formats to help you spot trends and respond to management, regulators or customer inquiries.
- Contaminants Database
The WaterTrax contaminants database is an encyclopaedia of 100s of parameters. It includes a description, health implications and the drinking water standards from all North American jurisdictions for each parameter. The database is updated regularly by our industry experts and can be used to automatically set up your exceedance alert levels. It is also a great learning tool and a source of links to key regulations.
- Software as a Service (SaaS)
WaterTrax is an online service that you subscribe to annually, so there is no capital investment for hardware or software, and very little risk. Annual fees include email and telephone support, maintenance, upgrades, and future enhancements. In addition, web delivery means that you can securely access the service anywhere there is access to the Internet.
