WaterTrax Introduces...
There have been several additions to our team since our last newsletter. Perhaps you have already talked to or met with Andrew, Matthew, or Vickitt, our newest team members. If not, read on to find out a little bit about them, and to learn how they helping you get the most out of your WaterTrax service.
Matthew Beckett, Client Services Representative. Matthew is the person that you are most likely to talk to when you call us with a question or problem. He also trains our clients in the use of our service and helps them implement new services of features over the phone and the web, or through on-site visits. Matthew came to us from the BC Cancer Research Centre where he was employed as an Animal Lab Technician. Matthew was responsible for ensuring the proper operation of the automated drinking water system and the environmental monitoring systems.
Matthew has worked for various Hydrological Engineering firms which gave him a broad experience in the water industry. His experience ranged from studying flow rates and building hydrological profiles to being involved with projects where nutrients were manually added to rivers to repopulate fish stocks. Matthew has a Bachelors of Science in Biology from the University of Northern BC.
Andrew Lewis, P. Eng. Director Product Strategy.Andrew Lewis is our in-house expert on water and wastewater operations and data management. He is the prime contact for State, Provincial and Federal Agencies who are interested in using our Agency Service. Andrew Lewis is a professional engineer with over 18 years of environmental compliance and utility management experience. Throughout his career, Andrew has led numerous projects to improve drinking water, wastewater, and solid waste management systems, as well as projects to clean up contaminated sites and reduce air emissions. In addition to finding solutions for protecting human health and the environment, he has written and spoken extensively on drinking water, wastewater and biosolids management solutions at both an operational and regulatory level.
Vickitt Lau, B. Sc (Hon), M. Sc. Vice President, Development. Vickitt leads the planning and execution of WaterTrax applications, product development, and application services. His team creates the best possible user experience for our clients by continuously upgrading and improving our service. Vickitt has extensive experience and a proven track record in software development, product planning, application service offerings, and team development. In his 19 years in the software industry, Vickitt has worked in the Alberta Research Council to apply advanced computer technologies to industries; led an application service company, RADSS Technologies, from startup to acquisition; and successfully delivered numerous projects for a number of Fortune 500 companies.
