Lance Neale, President and CEO

Lance’s passion for SaaS technology started early on and has greatly influenced his experiences as a successful entrepreneur, marketer, and technology executive. Today Lance is responsible for WaterTrax's corporate strategy and vision and his extensive experience has allowed WaterTrax to flourish since he stepped into the role of President and CEO in 2005.

Lance’s corporate success stems from more than 20 years experience in publishing and communications. Before coming to WaterTrax, Lance was Vice President of Publishing for Transcontinental Media where he was integral to the development of one of the publishing industry’s largest and fastest growing companies from 1997 to 2005. Prior to his many accomplishments with Transcontinental, Lance held numerous senior management positions with Southam Newspaper Group.

In his spare time, Lance is an active member of the Young Presidents Organization a worldwide institution dedicated to providing education and thought exchange opportunities to young business leaders. When he isn’t revolutionizing companies or mentoring the business community, Lance enjoys spending time with his family and friends whose love and support he credits for his energy and fervor for business and life.

James Griffiths, Chief Financial Officer

James joined WaterTrax as the CFO in 2001 and since then he has continued to bring his own special brand of expertise to WaterTrax's economic and financial strategy helping the company to continue to grow and thrive.

Before joining WaterTrax, James spent 5 years in business development for Pepsi Cola in Eastern Europe and Asia. James holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Marketing from the University of British Columbia and also attained his Chartered Accountant’s designation with KPMG in 1992. During his travels, education and garnered experience, James established himself as a thought leader in economic strategy for the SaaS industry and has brought all of these talents to WaterTrax, helping the company to experience continuing success.

James grew up in the beautiful Comox Valley on Vancouver Island, British Columbia. Like many native British Columbians James loves the outdoors and all the recreational adventures that go along with it from back-country skiing to surfing.

Vickitt Lau, Vice President of Development

In his role as Vice President of Development, Vickitt leads the planning and execution of WaterTrax applications, product development, and application services.

Before joining WaterTrax, Vickitt had a great deal of experience with SaaS technology. For over 20 years, Vickitt helped develop numerous products and projects for many Fortune 500 companies. His wide range of software experience includes, applied artificial intelligence, analytics, asset management, optimization, simulation and web 2.0. As a Program Manager on the Alberta Research Council, Vickitt was responsible for applying artificial intelligence technologies to improve efficiency in several different industries. In addition to all this he led an application service company RADSS Technologies from its start up to its acquisition.

When not strategizing software development breakthroughs, Vickitt enjoys golfing, reading and spending time with his family.

Andrew Lewis, P.Eng., Director of Product Strategy

Andrew is currently the Director of Product Strategy at WaterTrax and is responsible for leading the development of water and wastewater industry best practices for data management and reporting for all WaterTrax Software-as-a-Service products.

Andrew is a professional engineer with over 22 years of drinking water, wastewater and solid waste systems engineering experience. Andrew has worked as an approvals and inspections engineer for the Ontario Ministry of Environment and Alberta Environment and a planning engineer with Metro Vancouver.  Throughout his career, Andrew has managed numerous projects related to regulating, planning, inspecting and sampling drinking water, wastewater and solid waste systems of all sizes. 

Andrew is an army brat and has lived in many beautiful places but finally put his nomadic life to rest when he and his wife, Lynn, moved to Vancouver, BC in 2001.  Andrew’s passion for the environment and nature goes beyond his professional life and is evident in his love for kayaking, camping, skiing, golfing, hiking and nature viewing.

Richard Sharp, Vice President Marketing

As Vice President Marketing, Richard is responsible for communications, product marketing and demand generation activities for WaterTrax.  He is focused on increasing WaterTrax's web presence though his web marketing expertise.

Richard brings more than 17 years experience to his roles at WaterTrax. Richard has worked in product management and marketing positions at two NASDAQ-listed telecommunications companies and one consumer electronic multi-national company, Philips Electronics. Richard’s most recent endeavor before coming to Marqui, was leading marketing and demand generation at Elastic Path Software, a successful e-commerce company based in Vancouver, British Columbia.

Richard came to Vancouver from the UK and now lives with his family in North Vancouver. In his spare time, he enjoys many of the outdoor activities which are located right outside his front door.
